What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
i tried to rush into the big weights.... ended up hurting myself...
and i tried Working ot exessively.... I ended up bring down y immune system and getting sick for 2 weeks.... It too me 6 months to catch back up again,,, i tried to rush into the big weights.... ended up hurting myself...

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
take your time... its about the Quality not the Quantity...
start low and slow..... low weight high reps... until your body gets really USED to it... the gradually increase weights....trying to maintain a DEcent REP count...take your time... its about the Quality not the Quantity...
