How I Started:
I've always been active but average. After college I started working and got back to the gym regularly and quickly turned into a gym rat, spending 2-3 hours 6 days per week there. I wasn't training for anything at all, I just enjoyed it as time for myself and it was really fun. For a few years, that all went out the window and my life was unfortunately all about work. I'm finally back into getting to the gym regularly AND loving it and now my goal is to get into the best shape of my life.
Why I Love It:
It gives me time for myself which outside of the gym I never get. I have to focus on myself since I'm the one doing the exercise! Lifting weights again has made me feel more energized, healthy and confident so I'm excited to work towards my goals.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have a goal in mind and I want to reach that goal. I read alot of magazines, search for info on the internet and read a ton of bodyspace pages for inspiration.
I want to be strong, flexible, lean and mean! I want to see my abs! I want to feel the best I've ever felt and also be as healthy as I can possibly be.

post op for twins I take it.I did not start back into the gym until the 3rd week, and then I only did lt cardio very slow.The 4th week after a visitwith Dr.was released tolifting light,and to how I felt.I am back to full lifting sometimes it pulls funny and I have to adjust.My surgery was October 2.I am very pleased.Where do you live? I live in Monroe.Hope this answers some of your questions.
