How I Started:
My ex is very into lifting, bodybuilding, and health. I decided to start working out because I was getting sick often, and also because I am still young and I still have a chance to make a lifelong commitment to keeping in shape and staying healthy.
Why I Love It:
It completely refreshes my mind and gives me some "me" time. I talk on the phone all day and this is my opportunity to not talk and to focus on my workouts. Plus I love seeing the results and feeling good about my body.
How I Stay Motivated:
I love to look in the mirror and say, "Damn. I'm getting older and only lookin better!". But I also keep motivated by reminding myself that my body needs this to stay healthy. I can't afford to skip work due to kidney infections, so I workout @ work and get
BB Accomplishments:
Ok. My body has definetly transformed from when I've first started working out. My arms are great and my back is totally defined. I haven't been ill for quite some months now. Also I've won my first powerlifting competition coming in 1st place for bench press and deadlift: in teenage women 18-19 105lb class I benched 65 lbs and deadlifted 165 lbs. Goal (Long):
My original goals for working out is health. I used to have kidney infections and uti's pretty much every other month. I was a sickly 94 lbs, and after one very very bad kidney infection, my doctor informed me that a couple more of these and I could be on dialisis for the rest of my life. That woke me up!!! Luckily my boyfriend at the time had been working out for 4 years prior, so I thought why not... maybe this'll help? Come to find out for a tiny 4'11" girl I'm mighty powerful... and I easily add muscle and could easily drop fat. I'd love to be able to compete in figure. Already got 2 state records of powerlifting under my belt for bench press and deadlift. Google it! :)

I am prepairing to return to the stage in Aug after 21 years off, Ive dropped to 9.5% BF and weighing in at 212. I have about another 10lbs to go till Im at the weight I want but its going great. Glad to hear its going well. God Bless. Brian
