RE-motivating myself. Fitness and looking good CAN NOT be taken for granted. It is constant work and evaluation...
I guess I could be classified as a "phaser". I have been into and out of exercising as a yo-yoism forEVER! If something exciting would come up I would jump on a 3 month crash diet and exercise like bananas. Buuuut, at least I know the discipline is in there!
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of being confident in anything I wear from my "dunt-duh dun's" to jeans and a tee-shirt. I love waking up in the morning healthy and I love being the only woman who makes my husband quote..."daammmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmn!" from Friday. ;0)But most of all, I love the feeling of success and me being the only one accountable for taking myself there.
How I Stay Motivated:
Going to the gym. I am extrememly competitive by nature and when I get in there I am like, "I just know I could potentially be the hottest chick in here and HEALTHY if I put my game face on!!!" LOL! This site also helps alot. All of the same minds surrounded by the energy of improvement is helpful!

Goal (Long):
Short term: I want to lose body fat... at least 20 pounds of straight fat. I want to tone all over but especially my lower body. I want to have the extreme dedication to eat healthy, feel better and be naturally energized.
Mid term: I want to be somewhere in the LEAN 120's. Not sure where that will be for my body type but would like to hit a BF of low 20's.
Long term: I want to be in a competition. Don't know jack about them yet but have some things to conquer first. ;0)

yeah I am fine..I am just not progressing as fast as I should so my nutritionist said it might be my thyroid..so went to the doc and sure enough it is. Sucks because I eat so strict and clean and I am working my ass off and barely losing bodyfat..when at that rate I should be losing a % or more a week. Not sure if I will compete this season..at the rate everything is going I am behind
HI Rae! Thanks so much for your kind words. In regards to my self talk, I always try to keep it positive. When I was going through my transformation there were good days & bad days but I stayed focused on achieving my goal. I personally think your mindset can make or break you... so stay positve!! Train hard & eat clean - melita :)
I eat 6 times a day...competition and off seasion. I never go more that 3.5 hrs without eating. As far as carbs..I keep them moderate..only eat them when needed..like in the morn, before and after I workout..no need to eat them at night (never before bed!) but carbs are good for you..just don't over do it and keep them complex.
