I want to reach and maintain my target weight...and be ripped!!!
Goal (Long):
I have always been underweight for my height (6'). I don't want to be freakish big, just ripped and feeling good. I will probably ry experimenting with various proteins, N.O.s and creatine.
What's the general rule of thumb for tanning? Has anyone got recommendations for lotions, bronzers, accelerators? How about hair removal? Just figured if I was gonna take many more progress pics, or even dabble with the idea of competition, then I should gather any advise I can get.
LOL well if its a hot female friend I'm sure she won't mind spraying or rubbing it in for you ;)Make sure you use a really good exfoliating scrub b4 and if u use a cream put a small amount of regular body lotion on first. This will prevent streaking.Spray tan is great but don't go for the cheap or you'll end up looking like a pumpkin.Have fun!!
I can't say if I've noticed a big difference but I definitely like it. I'm undecided if I like No xplode better than SuperPump. Have you ever tried SuperPump?
When it comes to abs..A clean diet is key n a good amount of cardio. There is no specific exercise..However, make sure you are targeting all the muscles n keep it simple. Goodluck!
I spend about 20 minutes on abs every-other day. I do a variety of stuff-- Have been trying more "hanging-leg raises"...it kicks my butt. I Also do lots of exercise ball crunches. Good luck!
By the way, there is technically no such thing as isolating your lower abs from your upper abs. They are interconnected for all ab movements. However, what you might experience with some exercises is more extension of the torso prior to contraction, which makes it harder and it seems as though you are working them more. :o)
hey, well like they say its 80% diet. Abs are made in the kitchen. So just try and eat realy clean, and work them out hard, maybe with weighted situps, legs raises etc.
Still learning myself to be honest!
Good luck! you looking great :-)
Thank you very much! I tell ya what, it's all about your nutrition. Lot's of protein and good clean carbs. No simple sugars at all unless it's right after working out. Looks to me like your well on your way! If you want to pm me I can give you more details about my diet.
Are you referring to shredding fat or ab exercises?? To lose the flab, it's all in the nutrition and cardio, and keeping your rest time between resistance exercises down to 20-30 seconds during your weight training sessions. Also, by incorporating ab exercises that focus on balance and isometric contraction, it helps develop more ab strength, which in turn enables you to work them out more in a given session. Did you want some specific exercises?
Have you tried carb cycling? 3 days low carb, 1 day high... That's what's been suggested to me. But then again, I'm not the best person to ask, I don't have abs lol.
