How I Started:
After I broke my back in 1999 an injury that nearly paralysed me.I underwent physical therapy.I made an impressive recovery and decided to continue to make improvements in myself through weight training.Now seven years latter I'm a ISSA certified personal trainer and I have a squat of 450Lbs and a deadlift of 405Lbs. Not bad for someone who had a broken back.
Why I Love It:
It reminds me every day ,that which does not kill you only makes you stronger.
How I Stay Motivated:
Once I was bitten by the iron bug,it bacame a driving force that has pushed me through all obstacles and overcome all hardships large and small.If that's not motivation then I don't know what is.

What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
30 minutes after work out. I take 2 scoops, 60 grams 50% whey/50% casein protein, 70 grams dextrose, 1 heaping tablespoon twinlab brewers yeast and three uni-liver tablets. 1 hour after that I EAT. usually chicken breast, broccoli, and sweet potato.30 minutes after work out. HEEEYYY LOOK who I found! You sound like me, I had a similar injury in 1993. Car wrecks in 94 (firetrucks hit me)did not help. Keep up the good work. Namaste Benzai
