When I Started:
How I Started:
I first joined a gym about 7 years ago to lose some weight. I did mostly cardio for the first five years before adding sporadic weight training. In 2007 I made lifting a more regular part of my workouts but was still only lifting light. Then I came across BB.com and decided to completely change they way I work out.
Why I Love It:
It gives me energy

Reading/seeing other peoples progresses.
BB Accomplishments:
I don’t want to compete, I just want to look like I do :)
A fat burner might help a little. I reccommend Lipo Fuze, read up on it see if you like it, it is a garentee thing, so if you don't like it, get your money back. I stay step up the HIIT and step down the reg cardio. Did this help any?
Try some HIIT training. High Intensity Interval Training. If you don't know what it is, google it. It will save you alot of time on your cardio. What do you take for a fat burner?
Ok, that is alot of cardio. Are you doing low impact? Running? Biking?
The best time to do cardio is when you wake up and right after a training session. This is when your glycogen levels are the lowest and you will burn the most fat.
Oh, and only take carbs in during your early meals, nothing after lunch I say unless your doing it right before your workout. Then do just a little if you need the energy. I hope I helped.
One more thing that will help is taking a Casein shake before you go to bed. It slows down the digestion process and keeps your metabolism up while u sleep and keeps you anabolic. Don't forget to take your EFA's also, they will really help.
Now, the only type of carbs taken in should be complex carbs i.e. white taters, sweet taters, oats, and brown rice. This will massively help. Simple carbs turn into sugar which turns into fat when not used up. Hence, complex carbs.
Here is the formula. 1 gr. Pro per pound body weight, 1/2 of that for carbs and fats. So your ratio is 2/1/1. So if your 150 lbs, 150 g. pro, 75 carbs on a moderate day and 75 fats. Then cycle your carbs and fats, a low day should be about 1/3 of your 150, so 50g for carbs. A high day should be 2/3's so 100 for a high day. Fats follow the same.
I understand the hunger issue, here is the solution, don't do low carb, cycle carbs. Low carb diets keep you tired. It takes a while for your body to get used to less carbs, so cycle.
