Started about 8 to 10 years ago in the gym. Just recently purchased the in home work out P90X. I've always seen the infomercials over the years. I finally gave in and made the purchase. I'm glad I did.
Why I Love It:
It used to be how heavy I felt after lifting. But now, it's how much sweat I end up with afterwards. A good sweat = a good work out.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the people on this site. The transformations that have been made. Sometimes it hard to get motivated when sitting at a desk for 8 hrs a day.

I had completed the first 90 days of P90X. I started over and this will be my day 1 pic. I didn't take any the first time. Now that I know what to expect. I will improve on this. (175lbs 14.4% bf)
I would say we were very fortunate. We were out of power for about 22 hrs. Wind and rain started picking up around 8 or 9 pm Friday night. Didn't take long for the cable to go out. Once that went out, I figured it wouldn't be long before the power went out. It was about 12:30 a.m. when it went...
Hey There, I got your Pm and I am working on that answer. Sorry it is taking so long, but I have had a lot going on in my life. I should have the answer soon. Later- JT
Hey I can commiserate with you. I was sick over the weekend, but managed to slog through a couple workouts. Hope you feeling better soon, 2 weeks? Yikes. (And...is it Don or Dewey?)
Thanks for the comments on my blog and on the pics. I love getting the new clothes. I just got the P90X Plus program. We are gonna do it after our last 4 weeks of the classic is done. Stay strong- JT
I've noticed your progress pics/comments while doing the p90x..you are inspirational! Overall I have really enjoyed it although my hands/wrists have been sore at times- keeping me from bringing it occasionally! and yoga is so long...wah wah..lol
thanks for your long ago comment. Regarding all that equipment in the background..doesn't matter right now..am doing the p90x also. In my 4th week..lots of muscle/mental confusion. lol hope your workouts are going well.
The nutrition book usually tells you how much to eat.Whether it's a cup, tablespoon or oz.In the recipes section it shows exactly how many servings you get in each meal. One meal you cook might have 1.5 servings of protein, 1 serving of veggies and carbs. Are you following the book to an exact or are you like me and have to make changes? If you want, pm me a typical day of what you eat and when I have a chance I'll try to break it down.It might be later this week, but I'll get to it.
