How I Started:
I was sick of all the weight i put on from drinking and smoking and how weak i've gotten since high school.Have been working out since the start of the year and i'm enjoying it.
Why I Love It:
I love it because i am getting stronger and in turn bigger and feeling more confident in everything i do.
How I Stay Motivated:
My gym is just outside next to the laundry, hard to forget a work out and always better than doing the washing, also like to pump music and its great working out in the sun.
BB Accomplishments:
I can now benchpress my own weight! Never been able to say that even when i was 60 kgs and training for rugby first 15s in high school.Now i'm gonna try and hit the 100 kg mark in the next 6-8 months:)

I want to have a better body. I want a six pack and bigger arms and chest. I want to be able to benchpress 220 pounds, preacher curl 55s on each arm and weigh somewhere in the 210 to 220 range with only 15% body fat. I also want to increase my fitness.I know i can do this with dedication, the right plan and the right supplements/equipment in the next 12 months.
He started out skinny like i was and worked hard and got the rewards. Just awesome to see how well hes doing and makes me wanna work hard to improve myself as well. Also his blogs and videos are very helpful.
What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
Look for a place that is close to home and/or work. A friendly place. A place that will work for you. A place that has all the necessary equipment and has good staff and facilities. If it has a bench, lots of dumbbells and a preacher curl, it can pretty much do what you need it to. All the other fancy machines are good but usually not worth the extra your paying for them to join that gym, try a rec. centre if you want to save a few bob.Look for a place that is close to home and/or work. What leg workout has worked best for you?
Don't really work out legs, but dead lifts help on the hammies

What chest workout has worked best for you?
bench- warm up set, 3 sets of 10 at about 75% of 1 rep max then drop to 40 kgs and pump about 30 reps. Then incline bench with 3 sets and chest flyes with 3 sets.

Yeah I'll bet it's crazy down there. See any sharks? My workout routine is pretty light, wogging (walking/jogging) 5 days a week, calisthenics (pushups, situps, etc) 3 days a week and 3 days with 2 hours of the calisthenics plus weight lifting. I'm using low weights now so not making gains very fast, but I'm determined right now to loose the fat. I even had to give up the protein shakes. :( So what's your routine? I'm guessing it includes dumbbells and an incline bench.
Well, to be honest, I have been struggling lately. School has been taking up a lot of my time. Today is a new day though. I am going to start training for a run that I am going to do in December. It's only a 5k but I don't run at all so I will need to prepare for it. Hope to really lean up and tone a bit by the time of the race.
