When I Started:
How I Started:
I started lifting in college as part of my swim team's practice. I liked the personal challenge of it and got really involved in lifting once my swimming career ended.
Why I Love It:
I love it when people that dont see you regularly ask wtf happened too me. I also love the way individual muscle groups feel days after an intense workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
It is difficult to stay motivated at times. I stopped lifting entirely when my first kid was born. Since getting divorced I have been able to use lifting/body building as a great stress relief and general mood elevator.
