The first time I really got into weight lifting when I was deployed to Bosnia back in 1995. Being in the Army, moving and trainng all the time, working out is always a off and on thing.
Why I Love It:
Love to stay in shape, feels great when people tell you how good you look.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have two little ones at home and I want to be able to keep up with them when they get older.

BB Accomplishments:
After breaking the bone in my foot running one morning, it took a while to get back in shape. Finding out my back was messed up(partial slipped disk(middle of my back), Lower back has = partial fusion due to bone lose, bone thinning. Muscle spasms, conjoined nerve roots ... and mild case of Scoliosis)really bad didn't help. I had to find new ways to get in shape, which was a lot of trial and error, but I stuck in there. Since I got to Iraq for my second tour, (1 AUG 07) I have dropped to 230lbs and Dropped 5% BF (22%) and Benched 300 lbs

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
was lifting to much to fast ... ended up getting golfer's elbow (the other side of tennis elbow). Had to back off of lifting heavy, taken Animal Flex helped. Also started to use a elbow sleeve when working out.was lifting to much to fast ... ended up getting golfer's elbow (the other side of tennis elbow). I try to change up my workouts between Free weights and Machines each week. I knock out at least (3 exercises) 3-4 sets, 10 reps per body part. When it comes to stuff like Chest workouts, you use your triceps too, so I usally knock out two exercises just for triceps (cable pushdowns, and...
Hey, buddy, hope you are doing well. I just wanted to tell you again, on this 4th of July weekend, thanks for your sacrifice and bravery. You, and the thousands like you, are the true heroes of our time. You have my gratitude and respect, as well as my best wishes for you to reach all of your goals, both BBing and personal. Be safe, my friend.

If you are not 100 percent then perhaps you need a break. Let yourself get pumped looking through flex and mags like that and hit it hardcore when you feel good again take care bro.
Seeing how week is going and how the training is coming too...keep up the great work and thanks for the motivation, along with mine, nothing can stop me.......
My ANCOC jumps from 1 to 3 phases in October, due to a new MOS in the ammo field. I am going to talk to the recruiters here tomorrow to find out what options I have of going active duty after my deployment.
Have fun on leave, everyone needs it. I was going to try to knock out ANCOC before the summer is over, but that is out of the question. I have a full summer of training in front of me because I am heading back to the sandbox in the fall.
Hey brother how has it been? I am down in Alabama at BNCOC right now tearing it up. I got the highest PT score in the class, which was awesome considering I havnt been running enough. How is your progress going?
Now you got me interested in Animal cuts! And let me give it to you straight, I don't know about the broke part, but as for the old, you got that all mixed up! You look way better than me and I am 24, and alot of other young guys! So stop fooling yourself. And what you smirking about in that avi...like have some evil plan going in your mind!
Thank you! Yeah, it's hard because life gets even more busy with kids but like with anything else, if you make it a priority, you can find the time! Hope you are having a great weekend!
