I was in the Unites States Marine Corps, so I guess you can say that they motivated me to keep up with the guys! After I got out, I wanted to keep that alive, so I vowed to keep at it as long as I live. I also just had my second baby and things just weren't as easy as they used to be. I am doing P90X right now, and I am a coach that sells the products, and I am a full believer in them! I lost 20 stubborn left over baby fat and cancelled my gym membership. I realized I just don't need it anymore. All I need is a DVD player, and I do my workouts while my baby naps!! :)
Why I Love It:
Endorphins! I love the way I feel, look, everything about it. I can do as many/if not more pullups than alot of people I know. As a girl, that's something! It also gives me the energy and stamina I need to be a great wife and mother.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read about other's successes and failures. I always keep fitness magazines laying around so I can see the beautiful people in there. My family complimenting me all the time is my number 1 motivation, besides my faith in God.
BB Accomplishments:
I think I am accomplishing that right now..I just started to build muscle, and I LOVE what I see. It feels good to be strong, from the inside out.
This was on day 90 of the program. I used a recovery drink, a product called
Shakeology, and a performance formula from Beachbody. Also, the supplements listed here :)
I want to be as fit and ripped as I can possibly be!
Goal (Long):
I was a long distance runner, now I want to focus on gaining muscle. Running never gave me the body I really wanted, but it did allow me to lose the body fat I wanted to lose. I want to push my body to it's limits and see what I can do!! I am also a local fitness model here in Charleston, SC; so I definetely want to keep pursuing and expanding that career.
Hey guys and gals, it's been awhile since I posted, and just wanted to say hey and I'm still here! Things have drastically changed in my life, as well as my fit regimen. I quit the gym and now stay fit by doing P90X and I love it! I've also embarked on being a Beachbody Coach (free, after...
Now I am doing P90X+. It's a follow up program with upped intensity after graduating from the regular P90X. It's amazing and has completely changed my life. I use all Beachbody programs, and encourage anyone who is on the fence about it, to try it! I can be your personal coach if you order...
