When I Started:
Mar, 2007
How I Started:
Well, I first became acquianted with the concept of weights in my freshmen year of high school when I started wrestling, but I really weak and stopped once the sport was finished. Let me put it this way- I was so scrawny that you could SEE the bones of my RIBCAGE WHERE THE PECS SHOULD BE! And with a gut. By late sophmore year it was slightly better, since I had put on some fat (about 10 pounds), but I decided enough was enough in March 2007 and now I am one the strongest kids pound for pound in my school, and have gained around 30-35, maybe 40 pounds of muscle.
Why I Love It:
It gives me something to focus my attention on, and thus, I can control my ADHD better than I used to, resulting in less meds and more muscle over time. Also, as of now I am practicing a method called Maxalding, in which one uses his/her mind to contract/relax individual muscles seperately or simultaneously upon command, as well as other mental techniques to strengthen the mind. It works quite well.
How I Stay Motivated:
This one I can't really explain very well. I simply enjoy the exercise. My ultimate goal is to have a build as dense as the great Victorian-era strongman and bodybuilders, especially one by the name of Maxick, who only weighed 147lbs at 5 feet tall. Why him, well he was strong as shit (210pound heavyweight boxer lifted overhead with 1 arm), and a physique that had extremely dense musculature.
BB Accomplishments:
For me, I have to say that I have lost 2 pant sizes, lost 15 pounds of fat and put on 30-40 pounds of muscle, despite the fact that I have to take prescription medicines for ADHD, which are stimulants, and having a naturally fast metabolism.
Well, I decided to do 1x5 and 5x3 for deadlifts, and I use 225 for the 1x5 and 295-315 for the 5x3. On Pullups I was able to do today 1x13, 1x11, 1x10, 1x9, and 1x7 with bodyweight. And DB-1 arm rows are- 1x9-60lbs,1x8-60lbs, 2x7-65lbs, 1x65lbs. I did power cleans but started suffering...
