I'm surprised those things exist. he he, no wonder you got the ving rhames looking jailbird guys in there. Well, as interesting as a workout sounds with those guys might be, I think I'd be scared of getting injured doing all that craziness they do.
Yeah that sucks that there are not many good gyms out there. You seem to do well without one though. Never been out west. Been an east coast kid all my life.

Well, that presents the question of what were you doing before? To cut or bulk after a week off. I'd say cut because losing unnecessary fat will definitely help the 40 yard dash, the vertical leap, and the 8 pack.
However, if you were cutting for a long period of time, then do a 6 week bulk.
