How I Started:
At the time I was suffering from migraines and depression. I was surfing the internet about fitness and saw the BODY FOR LIFE program, I entered the contest and my journey began. I took pictures every 4 weeks and could see the changes my body was making. Not only did my body change but my migraines went away and I no longer needed to take medication for depression. I was hooked!!
Why I Love It:
Working out helps me relieve everyday stress, makes me feel stronger and more alive. I am a better woman and mother because of it. I love feeling and looking strong, seeing the muscle definition when I lift is very empowering.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated from friends here on bb.com that have the confidence in me to achieve my goals and from reading transformation stories. Its a life decision, and one i plan to keep. Always move Forward!!

Goal (Long):
It's Time to make the change!! Now that I am in my 40's I need to take control of my life. My whole life I have been taking care of everyone but me, and well now it time for me!! I dont want to be just average, I want to be the mom that my daughters can be proud of. This is the heaviest I have ever been, mainly because I use food to comfort me when I am stressed out about life, and try to compensate my feelings through food. I know that if I can get refocused on my weight training and my cardio that i will no longer look to food to console me. With full dedication and motivation I know I will make this transformation over the course of the year!
and i have been down and out for a week and a half now!! Today though its back to the gym allergies or not!! Being from Michigan where everything dies off from the cold to being in Texas where things live on...the allergies have been full blown the last few months. Add to the stress from...
See that's another prob I have... I can never do 60min cardio... I have A D D and get so bored and distracted!! but damn I had no idea u burned that much! U go sista!! Yuck.. spinning class... I just admired u more for that! I have been told a million times to get my but on a bike and ride... but my azz goes numb after 8 mins.. always! I just dont dig it! And those classes are bruttle!! U go Lil lady! Sorry about the allergies... its crappy here too! :(
Hey Girl... I took a lil break yesterday.. had the case of the drains all weekend and finally feel 100% today... so Miss Thang I will be attacking my legs tonight and hope ur getting at it too!! How u feeling doll??
