This was taken when I first began my transformation. I was 204lbs at this time. It was a depressing feeling to know that I let myself get this big....its time for a change.
Today is the first day to my transformation down here in Texas. Pictures say it all!!
Starting weight 183lbs...Goal weight is 140lbs!!
It's Time to make the change!! Now that I am in my 40's I need to take control of my life. My whole life I have been taking care of everyone but me, and well now it time for me!! I dont want to be just average, I want to be the mom that my daughters can be proud of. This is the heaviest I have ever been, mainly because I use food to comfort me when I am stressed out about life, and try to compensate my feelings through food. I know that if I can get refocused on my weight training and my cardio that i will no longer look to food to console me. With full dedication and motivation I know I will make this transformation over the course of the year!
Okay for three days now I have been working on my eating, and it is going pretty good. I am finding it hard to get 5-6 meals in a day but I am working on it, and the new challenge will be working it into my midnight work schedule (which starts next week), but I will do it!! I also went to the...
Yeah I have a bodybuilding book I cant remember exact title...something like 101 weight exercises for women...its pretty good. I never have used the tracker. Theres blank journal pages on bb.com and you can fill them in and print them off. Thats what I use sometimes then i am just carrying around 1 piece of paper - thats not so bad!
Have u ever seen those blank workout pages on bb.com where you can type in the exercise you want to do and then the reps/sets? When I started I would print off what I wanted to do and take with me to the gym and check mark them off as I went...otherwise I was just standing around like DUH??? whadda I do again??? hahaha. I cant send u the link later if you want me to! I can elaborate more later or give you exercise ideas as well.
Oh wow that midnight shift is gonna be tough!! You hang in there you will get used to it! I am off today and tomorrow and I swear I think I broke my little toe getn outta bed this morning!! Cardio should be fun....

Nah, you're not crazy. I like change a lot too. Since losing those 4 inches, I'm thinking of getting it just a tad shorter. See, I'm indecisive, LOL. Hmm, if I'd known you were going to change it, I'd talked to you! I think the cut is adorable, but I also understand what you mean. Yeah, go for more highlights. Don't think you'd go wrong!
You sound a lot like me with hair color. I want and like it blonde, but when my roots start showing (as they are now) I think why do I spend the money on lightening it, LOL. It's not quite time for my next appointment, but my roots do need touched up. Contemplating making an appt. before the trip. Highlights for you?
Getting weighed always motivates me...to go get a Krispy Kreme!!!! I have a high tolerance too, it is probably because I have taken so many different pills in the past!!! I didn't feel much after the first one. I am going to try two before my workout this evening hopefully it won't keep me up tonight. Goodluck on your workouts and keep up the good work! Yeah, take the painful moments and use them as an extra motivator. I'm sorry that you're not liking it. I'm not too happy with mine after a bad stylist got ahold of it. She said, "I can get the split ends in 1". I was fine with that because I expected either an 1 1/2" to 2". When she was done, it was 4 inches, ACK! Then, it wasn't even at that (right side was longer). So, I've been snipping it trying to get it corrected, LOL. Yeah, I hope we can meet up too!
Hey Deanna! Nothing sounds better than being paid and lying by the pool. So happy that you've had some time to enjoy, relax, and get comfortable with TX. =0) Hope your analysis was painless today. Do you like workout dvds? The Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is really good! I do level 3 two times in a row. It is circuits of strength, cardio and ab/core work. I think each circuit is 7 minutes each and there are like 4 circuits in each level. It kicks my butt its really hard physically but it is not hard to follow her instructions.
