When I Started:
Jul, 2008
How I Started:
At the time I was suffering from migraines and depression. I was surfing the internet about fitness and saw the BODY FOR LIFE program, I entered the contest and my journey began. I took pictures every 4 weeks and could see the changes my body was making. Not only did my body change but my migraines went away and I no longer needed to take medication for depression. I was hooked!!
Why I Love It:
Working out helps me relieve everyday stress, makes me feel stronger and more alive. I am a better woman and mother because of it. I love feeling and looking strong, seeing the muscle definition when I lift is very empowering.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated from friends here on bb.com that have the confidence in me to achieve my goals and from reading transformation stories. Its a life decision, and one i plan to keep. Always move Forward!!
Is to find my ABS and have a ROCK SOLID BODY...5K on December 4th...then compete in 2010. BRING IT ON BABY!!
Goal (Long):
It's Time to make the change!! Now that I am in my 40's I need to take control of my life. My whole life I have been taking care of everyone but me, and well now it time for me!! I dont want to be just average, I want to be the mom that my daughters can be proud of. This is the heaviest I have ever been, mainly because I use food to comfort me when I am stressed out about life, and try to compensate my feelings through food. I know that if I can get refocused on my weight training and my cardio that i will no longer look to food to console me. With full dedication and motivation I know I will make this transformation over the course of the year!
life goes one whether your their or not. I moved to Texas at the end of May for work, leaving my daughters behind...not as bad as it sounds...one is 19 and at college and one is 17 and finishing up her senior year. Although i was excited about going to see them (youngest was on...
Hey girl. 5k was great!! My 10 yr old did it with me!! I'm ready to kick it in high gear again. We have Ronald Mcdonald here in Orlando. I will check it out to see if they have that here too. Rock on!!
You are on target and doing things right. Just make small adjustments when you think you need a change. Cut out a certain food, add in a little extra protein, or another 10 mins of cardio.
