I have been an athlete all my life. I have wanted to compete for years, but "life" happened. I am now recovering from 2 back surgeries in a 3 year span. Over the past 3 years, I slipped away from training and put on some extra "baggage"...
I stepped onstage for the first time in April 2008. I knew that there was a competitor inside me, I just had to get my feet wet. Now that I know my potential, I am on my way...
Why I Love It:
I love being fit, but I want to be lean. I love the thought of transforming my body from a chubby girl to a fit, lean girl. I LOVE a fit physique, whether male or female. You need to look like you take care of yourself. I love walking into a room and hear people saying... "She MUST work out."
How I Stay Motivated:
When I see results, I am SUPER motivated. I have (what I believe is..) great will power. I do not fall from grace easily. I try to surround myself with positive people also... I have friends in the industry and they (unknowingly) keep me motivated.

What tricep workout has worked best for you?
Eyeballers and rope press downs seem to hit great. I also use a close and a wide grip for a little splash of variety...lol

What calf workout has worked best for you?
I don't work my calves much, but they are very "pronounced"...lol I use the standing calf raise machine. I also stand on the edge of a platform and drop my heel (one at a time) using my own bodyweight.I don't work my calves much, but they are very "pronounced"...lol I use the standing calf raise machine.
