Twat_Waffle Hi Thanks for adding me. Don't stress too much on counting calories. I made that mistake and did not get good results. The most important part is proper workout plan, diet plan and supplement plan. Lean meat, greens veggies, fruits, protien shake, eggs are the key. eat every 2.5-3 hours a day. have 6-7 different meals and keep small portions. Cardio+Weight workout. Like balance diet you need balance workout. Weight workout is super important and so is Cardio. good luck and stay motivated. Jul 9, 2012 10:00am

sylvas312 I would advise you not to count calories. If you eat 6 to 7 small meals per day which consist of good carbs (brown rice, wheat pasta's, broccoli, sweet potatoes, oats) and proteins (protein powder, lean beef, chicken and fish) and measure out a cup of a protein and carb per meal you will shed pounds. You just want to make sure you are eating enough carbs to sustain your workouts. Jun 25, 2012 8:34am

ChasinGreatness The truly ACCURATE way to determine caloric intake would be to see a nutritionist who can test your Basal (or resting) metabolic rate (BMR). It's a simple 10 minute breathing test at most places. I found out that I had a very slow metabolism after my BMR test. Which is why I was not able to lose weight or sometimes gained weight even after diet and exercise. Once I did the BMR and found out the calories I should consume, I started losing weight! easttngirl there are formulas out there if you google it. all based on your height/weight/activity level/and how many lbs you wanna lose(the caloric deficit you need to create each day to reach your goal) Jun 24, 2012 10:10am
