When I Started:
How I Started:
I was raised in a gym as my father was part owner. I would go at night just to hang out and kind of workout but nothing serious. It wasn't until my last years of high school and after the military that I really got into working out seriously and took it on as a lifestyle.
Why I Love It:
The sense of accomplishment of moving a bunch of iron and improving my body, mind, and health. Besides prayer, weight lifting is a great stress relief and motivator.
How I Stay Motivated:
Just the love for weight lifting and the part of my life it has become. If I don't lift or miss a workout I become grumpy and feel like i missed something.
BB Accomplishments:
1 state record and placing 66th in the nation for the bench int he 181 Lbs weight division in my first 2 years of competing.

Yup, scope a brah out! Fourth contest downrange, chalk one up for experience - lowest placing so far but at my heaviest weight so I'm just happy to hold ANY lean mass over 200lbs., it's getting harder to stay lean at this young age and cruiser weight...makes me more motivated to stay consistent!
