Background
I took a bet with a coworker on who could lose the most weight in a month. I starved myself on 800 - 1200 calories a day and ended up losing 22 pound in 4 weeks. I won the competition by a landslide!! However, as soon as I started eating normally again I gained back 15 pounds immediately. At that time I decided I wanted to lose the weight the right way to keep it off, that's why I am here.
I don't really love it, per se... I really enjoy lifting in the gym while getting pumped up to great music. I also love seeing the results of my hardwork directly in the mirror. I HATE CARDIO! I prefer to make it really intense though, that is probably why I have such a healthy disdain for it....

It didn't take long for me to get really tired of the steak (have to nuke it 3 times a day at work) I and wanted a short break from the chicken so I went to Costco and bought two 2 1/2 pound portions of tilapia to sub in as my main protein. I don't know what you guys think about it but I LOVE IT!
I prepared all of the filets at one time using a simple recipe that I will include below and now I am actually looking forward to every meal instead of dreading it. I

Posted in Other : Jan 28, 2012 7:44pmI would like to say right from the get go that I know what I am about to say is counter intuitive to my progress and flawed in many ways, but it is a mindset that I have been struggling with for a while.
I have always looked at the number on the scale as an overall assessment of my fitness level. I understand on the list of priorities, the scale is usually last in line and only to be used to gauge certain aspects of progress. I have had a life long history of gaining weight and then going on crash diets to bring myself back down. Since about 10 years ago, I can recall mys
