Overall Goal: I want to get the body I want. Bulk up and gain more muscle without losing definition and tone.
Fit Status:
Started back in the gym from a long hiatus (work and being sick). Sore but still motivated to continue on.
Motivation Level: 9/10

When I Started:
Sep, 2007
How I Started:
Always been physically fit, working out, track and field, marching band so it was natural to want to workout to stay in good shape. After gaining weight in undergrad I knew it was time to get serious.
Why I Love It:
Personal time for me. Time to think. Time to focus. The soreness. The ability to push your body to its limits and beyond.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror.
Knowing that I can always do better.
Keeping fat off now, so the older I get it'll be easier to keep it off.
General Health.
BB Accomplishments:
Putting on muscle while not gaining fat, more definition and tone. Looking at people I went to high school and college with and how due to life (marriage, kids, careers, etc.) they've let their bodies go. My accomplishment is not allowing life circumstances determine my fitness level

This picture was taken my last year of undergrad when I knew I needed to do something. I wasn't too fat, but I wasn't as define or cut as I wanted to be.
Been a long road and I still have a long way to be, but at least it's progress.
I want to get the body I want. Bulk up and gain more muscle without losing definition and tone.
Goal (Long):
Instead of being envious of others for having the body I wanted, it's time to put up or shut up! I want to get the body I've always wanted. Bulk up and gain more muscle without losing definition and tone. I'd love to compete one day in the distant future. I'm way too small to compete now, but one day I'll get there. In 2009, I'm going to start my quest to become a certified group fitness instructor. So I'll definitely want to look the part as well! Of course once I feel that my body is where I want it to be I plan to do a little fitness modeling as well.
David whats up bro...looking good.. if you can get a good workout partner there I say go for it... I'm hanging 10 alone down here in the South...want to see you reach your goals to be a massive muscle man....
