Gained a lot of weight (max was 17 stone soft, flabby, body - and so I decided to get back into good shape. I had a great personal trainer for a year until I moved, lost focus a bit working on my own, but have now refound my passion for bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
I love the battle between body, mind and the weight and I love the feeling of satisfaction I get after a good lift or session.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look in the mirror - good day's, bad day's, both motivate me. Also, I'm hoping this bodyspace page will help me to see my progess. Gotta see those abs!!!

I look like the figure 8 here! Need to lose that waist.
Side and front comming in a little. Outline of abs on front.
I've always been quite heavy, especially around the middle. I think the place I hold fat most is around my lower back and 'love handles'. I'm hoping that this will go as I know I have good abs underneath and a good muscular structure.
All areas need improvement, but eating clean is the biggest hurdle for me - although this time, I'm going to do it.
I hope by June or July 2008, I will have come in more at the waist, dropped at least 5% BF and will be able to see a bit more deffinition.
What worked for me and allowed me to achieve my fitness dreams and lose over 50 lb’s, and go from 36 to 10% bodyfat in only 12 weeks was following the Body for Life program. It is not super easy nor is it so hard that you won’t be able to achieve your goals. I find that you get the best results by following a well-designed program and that is what I found with BFL. Challenge yourself and you may be amazed at the results and how fast they happen.
