The arnold classic and the younger guys at the basketball court, along with some words from my late father
Why I Love It:
gets my mind off of things helps me relax, and focus on making myself happy, seeing results and just trying to perfect my body as the romans believed you should.
How I Stay Motivated:
My father said a in 2005 that, when he was my age, he was 260lbs. At that moment he was weighing in at almost six hundred pounds. Just under two years later he died because of heart failure. My father was only 46 years old. Died one month before the birth of his second grandchild. Both my parents were 500+ pounds and neither one lived to enjoy their grandkids. I refuse to follow that trend.
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 65Lbs
hit 250 on my bench

This is older and didn't realize how big i was. My mother in law found this picture of me. This was during the time of my sons birth. I started to lose weight at 260, but was bigger in this picture then my original photo.
after a while started to hit the progress trail again!!
I want to weigh 170 or 180 at 10% or less bodyfat by Oct. 31
Goal (Long):
my ideal weight was said to be 160 but i think i would be to small, so i am tring to at least get to 180. and of course trying to get that almighty six pack. working for that BF of 8%
Monday was a subpar workout day. It felt like it could have been better. Well at least I’ve had better Monday s. It was chest, shoulders, Triceps day and it was okay. Shoulders are kind of sore but other than that nothing. I had my IPod on shuffle and I mainly got soft or slow...
Thank you for your compliment but I don’t feel like I have done much, yet. My real goal and that of my wife is to assist people in overcoming the obstacles that are stopping them from achieving the weight loss they want and reaching their fitness goals and/or dreams. That is my idea of true “bodybuilding.”
Hey man, keep up the running and the chubby will disappear, Dave Ramsey and financial peace is great in getting your finances in order. Keep at it buddy. What a beautiful princess. It's all worth it. Peace,Rich
I appreciate the compliment and I am so honored to motivate you :) It makes me really happy to help others and let them know they can do anything they set their minds to do. I wish you the best success.
Well, I competed at the 07 Arnold and I was invited to do the 08 Arnold this past Feb/Mar... but I couldn't go as it is really expensive to travel for a show and I just couldn't get things together in time. I hope to qualify for the 09 Arnold when I compete in Dec. if I place well enough then maybe I can go next Feb. :) Thanks for asking, how sweet of you-
You are doing awesome! My weight drop quickly was motivated by a contest that we were doing at work. It was sorta a kick start for me. I wish that the biggest loser would go by fat loss and muscle gain instead of just overall weight. Hope you had an awesome weekend my friend!
Awesome compliment my friend!
Have you had a chance to look at my progress pics? I was pretty fat and out of shape just under a year ago. I finally got my butt back in the gym Feb of this year.
