I had enough of being fat and dumpy. I have a frame and I believe the genetics to throw some serious muscle on.
Why I Love It:
I like the idea of eventually looking like I was meant to. I don't believe I was meant to be fat.
How I Stay Motivated:
I've seen the results by this point and I'm in it to win it. Hard work and heavy lifting will get me where I want to be.
BB Accomplishments:
I've lost more than 100 lbs. I recently had hernia and abdomen reconstruction surgery and this has put me down for some 12-18 weeks. But once I'm ok to start lifting again, I'm going all out! I want big muscle, and I want the last of my fat gone!

dbmg17updated Fit Status "Still having diet troubles, but lifting is going great!!!"
Originally my goal was just to lose the weight and become a stronger person. Now I want to be sick big!
Goal (Long):
I have struggled with my weight since I was a small child. I eventually grew very tall and became very skinny (with the help of drugs and alcohol). Now I'm in my thirties and being almost 400 lbs. is not cool, or even fun for that matter. I want to drop the fat and become as built and cut as the guys I see in the magazines.(updated 18 moths later)I have 60 lbs to lose and all the muscle in the world to gain. I want to be able to one arm curl 100 lbs and have my bench press up to 350 overall. I want to get BIG big!
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
I have had two hernia surgeries prior to trying to get in shape. My third came about 16 months into my transformation. The recovery time was 200% less painful. I am able to do so much more because of having less weight and more muscle.I have had two hernia surgeries prior to trying to get in shape. My third came about 16 months into my transformation. How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
My career isn't affected much by my fitness, but I don't tire as easily at work.
And so we are in the new year and with it comes new resolutions and re-newed vigor to achieve my goals. I've had some set-backs in the last four weeks. Mind-numbing headaches plagued my workouts for a while. I was taking high energy supps to help boost fat loss. Combined with the removal of...
Thanks for the love bro...I've plateaued over the last few weeks so looking for a new workout technique. It's going to be rough though since I have four weeks work of business trips over the next 6 weeks. Keep your head up and you'll make it through...just remember that there's always some bull**** coming up in disguise as an excuse.
Dbmg....how's everything going? You got the frame...just as you said, how's your motivation doing? Keep up that work ethic and you will be freaking people out.
