The only thing that will stop me from reaching my goal is an injury or illness.
My stay motivated many ways.. One is by coming to bodybuilding.com regularly and reading the motivational stories and amazing transitions that people have made. Another way I stay motivated is by watching others at the gym that are in great shape. I also follow some fitness pages on FaceBook.
I have removed myself from any friends that are counter productive to my goals.
It is rare that I have a day where I just don't feel like sticking to my goals, so I am very lucky in that. I am currently trying to build as much muscle as possible between now (11/14/2012) and next spring. In the spring I am going to begin the big fat cutting process with a goal of 10% BF by July 1, 2013. I am 52 years old now, so it could be interesting.

I took my first ever "before" pictures today.. I plan to take them at the beginning of every month for the first 6 months of 2013... If I ever make my goals, i'll post all of them.

My current plan is to continue to work out 6 days a week and try to gain as much muscle mass as possible until Spring. I do not want to add any more fat to my body that is already above 20%, if I lose some that is great but not my primary target. I was going to get all lean now, but then I'd just be a skinny person and I do not want that. My workouts have been going extremely well and 6 days is working out just fine. I looked at myself in the mirror last night and thought, "Hey, I'm starting to look like someone that works out"!.. I guess my hard work and super clean eating is paying off. In 2012 I was eating good 95% of the time, but not all the time. For 2013, it is eat strict 24X7 and work out correctly (as I believe I have been).. I will take some more pictures in the first week of the next several months.. When I reach my goal, i will post some before, during and after shots.
