I've liked fitness for as long as I can remember.. in elementary school, whenever the fitness competitions came on TV I would push all the furniture aside in my basement and try and do what they were doing :D I've always loved that body-image in a woman, and looked up to them. Also, I have always been encouraged to have muscular physique, as I was raised solely by my father.

I started lifting weights in grade 8; I had a crush on this boy who used to work out all the time.
So I asked if he could show me how for an excuse to hang out with him.
I have been doing it (lifting weights) off and on ever since.
Why I Love It:
It is always fascinating to watch your body change.
Makes me feel strong and healthy.
Love the looks from the cardio bunnies lmao

I have done casual modeling in the past, but it was more bikini/glamour.. I want to work towards fitness modeling.

I used to do a 4-day split, working each muscle group only once a week. But now I changed to and upper and lower body split so I can work each group twice a week. I am finding my progress better on this for the comp.

Thanks for the advice, and I will start doing more back. As for competing this summer...I don't know if I'm mentally ready yet...And I am waiting for my trainer/bf to get back from deployment. I just wanted to pick a date far out so I would be really prepared. You actually think I could compete soon? Ahh!! I don't think my body is where I want it to be...and I want to be confident, you know? I'm still trying to learn my poses, too.
Everytime I roll past you on here, you amaze me.. I hope all is well.. Train D the Overall is yours. I'm sure of it. you've got the look and physique.. Great work!!!

Hey thanks for the nutrition tips! I actually just recently started adding ground flax seed and wheat germ in my oatmeal in the morning. Flax contains those fats you are talking about, right? The problem is, I don't know how much to use....I have read that you need to work your way up to a certain amount because all the fiber can mess up your digestive system. 've started with one teaspoon. Any help, please!!! Thanks again! ~*CAM
