I have always been heavy. I was not athletic at all as a kid. I ballooned to 270 lbs around age 29. I finally got started down a better path by seeing a dietician. After losing 30 lbs, I joined a gym and have been working out ever since!

Thanks Darren but those are 4 months old. Also it was just before surgery. I took those so I could get back to that point plus more. I'm giving myself until Christmas. Then keep it going.
awesome job with the weight loss! i know it is very difficult to continue to lose weight, but we are on our way to a newer and better us! congrats to you on all the hard work! keep it up!
Hi Darren! Nice photo of you on your bike. I'm glad the cycling has helped you to lose weight. I have a road bike, but am getting ready to sell it. :O I did complete a MS150 bike ride before I became a complete failure at cycling. :D
Happy New Year!
Thanks for the encouraging comments. My son just turned 16 months, he's going to be a big guy, he's pushing 3 feet already and is right off the chart at the local health department. I used to ride a lot until I crashed and totally destroyed my right elbow, but the bike survived just fine...LOL
Thanks for the comments. So far things are going very well, I've lost 19.5 lbs and about 1.5 inches from my waist. Still hitting the gym and trying to eat better everyday.
