Why I Love It:
Better mood, more energy, competitive streak in me, seeing my body's transformation, growing stronger and faster.
How I Stay Motivated:
Working out puts me in a better mood for the rest of the day. So, would I rather be grumpy all day or happy and full of energy? hmm not a tough call. So, my motvation for working out is to stay happy.
before and after... and lost another 23 pounds since the after pic has taken. i am almost at my goal winter weight. after winter i plan on taking off another 40-50 pounds.
195 pounds... down 90 pounds over all. 75 pounds since the end of may 2009.
i want to weigh less now than what i did in 6th grade.
Goal (Long):
i weighed over 170 pounds in 6th grade. over my adult life, i managed to get up to 285 pounds. i have lost 85 pounds and am now down to about 200 pounds. i have reached my winter goal weight. but in mid-january i'd like to start working harder to lose the rest of my weight. i am working on my athletic ability right now (because i usually like to exercise) while i am maintaining my 200 pounds. i would like to gain more lean muscle while maintaining also. i would also like to shrink my calves a bit. i realize that is almost impossible. i have not been doing any weight training on my calves (and have stopped all weight training on my lower-half completely). and i am training myself for long-distance jogging/running instead of sprints.
