What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I had what I thought was a bad lower back but later found out that it was a hereditary hip problem that affected the entire area. Doing hip abductor and adductor exercises with every leg workout (twice weekly) has helped this problem to pretty much go away. I used to injure my lower back almost every other month because I was overcompensating. If you're looking for an intensity boost, i highly suggest it. Also, I'd rec. a spotter the first time, cuz you wanna make sure you get all 6 reps all 6 times!
