When I Started:
Feb, 2005
How I Started:
My older brother took me to the gym a couple times when I was a young lad and I was amazed at how strong he was. When I got to college I finally had a good place to go work out. Being big has always been a goal of mine. It is still a goal of mine.
Why I Love It:
--I feel better about life and have more confidence.
--The women I'm attracted to are the types that take care of their bodies also.
--Its extremely challenging and it takes all the dedication and constant persistence I can give it. You get out what you put in. Bodybuilding is not a 1 or 2 hour a day thing. It takes consistent planning, determination, eating correctly, and working out. I am a visual person, therefore, when I see the benefits of my labors I fall in love with this way of life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Through these past couple of years I have found that I am most motivated when I can help someone along. Taking a friend to the gym or sharing eating habits all to help them succeed is extremely gratifying. My life feels complete when I help others.
The mirror, pictures, and complements are huge motivational tools. I take all I can get because its what reminds me of my goals on a daily basis.
My family history shows a tendency for high blood pressure and high LDL. Health is a huge motivational factor.
I also stay motivated by seeing other people's success stories. There is no reason why they can do it and I can't.
BB Accomplishments:
Not yet but soon!

dannyp12changed Weight from 177 lbs. to 181 lbs., a 4 lb. gain in 32 days
Gaining muscle has been a goal ever since I can remember. I have 15 more pounds to go until I reach my goal. My body is pretty toned but my abs have never really been too eye popping. Once I gain the weight I need to be at I will be able to tone down while maintaing weight. Girls love a chiseled body and strong muscles and they like a natural looking body. This is what I have been striving to have and soon I will be what I want to be.
Glad to know I am an inspiration to you...means a lot bro. Seriously good luck with everything. Let me know if you need any help with your diet or training.
I try man, lol. Hope everything works out for ya in your gaining phase, dont forget adding cardio in your routine won't hurt, it helps to increase your metabolism and appetite.
