Starting from scratch. Goals are to bench press 1.5-2x my weights, squat 1.5x my weight. Basically, I want to smash these weightlifting performance standards: http://www.exrx.net/Testing/WeightLiftin g/StrengthStandards.html
I want higher ab definition, a bigger chest and forearms.
Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
I feel it is critical to the success of the fitness process to declare your goals to your friends and/or family. In doing so, you're declaring to the universe what you want and as a result, the universe will align and position itself to comply with those declarations, given that you are holding up your end of the bargain and completing the necessary steps to achieve your goal(s).I feel it is critical to the success of the fitness process to declare your goals to your friends and/or family. How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
2-3 minutes on average, sometimes up to 4. This is how long it normally takes me to "catch my breath" and recover in-between sets, especially intense sets composed of the compound exercises (i.e. squats, bench, deadlift, bent-over rows).2-3 minutes on average, sometimes up to 4. Do you sometimes use energy enhancing supplements?
Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
Shaklee Cinch Tea and/or Shaklee CorEnergy. When I do take them, I take them about 30 min. prior to a training session.
hey mate.
Thanks for the comments.
Training is going amazing lately, loving it, so dont ever let anyone tell you our diet is a problem :)
Good luck with it, im not as strict as you i could never go vegan, i love my dairy and eggs e.t.c... just try and get the protein and calories you need in general, lift hard and you will go places.
No Problem. I was trying to figure out what it was I rep'd you on but couldn't read it. Since I couldn't find a reply from you in a thread of my own it was probably for good advice you gave someone else. I goto the LA Fitness on Miami Gardens. A lot of people are going to 24 hour now. Keep in touch. -frank
boxing is going great ive been getting pretty serious with it, and less on sculpting. what type of injury did you encounter? and i am sorry to hear that, but im sure youll recover quickly, regardless. the only thing i plan to focus on for a while, is power to weight ratio/strength, and muscular endurance
Your body space is very good. You are an articulate writer. I read some of your threads, very informative. You are focused on your goals, you will
achive them. Good luck.
Curl Master. I'm still doing upper/lower body workout (M,Tu - Th, F). Boxing? That's cool. I wanted to start lessons but they were a little too expensive. It makes your weight training more meaningful when you have something to train for. Good luck.
