How I Started:
I have been in school, earning my various degrees and certifications, for ten years. I always told myself when I was finished improving my mind, I would improve my body. I finished school in December and started dedicating my time to working out in January.
Why I Love It:
I love the physical challenge, the visable results, and all the research and science associated with fitness/bodybuilding.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have always been the nerdy, book-smart girl that was noticed for her mind, I am enjoying this new attention I am getting for my body; that is very motivating.

Today I had one of those moments where the lifting isn't just for show, there's an actual purpose for strength.  While at a friend's home, her cat got stuck under a wing-back chair (a fairly large arm chair).  The chair was in a corner and could not be scooted forward because it would hurt...

THank you DaniAnne :) It was so much fun I can't wait to do this again.. I'm looking forward to the next 5 to 6 months to add more muscles and do it all over again :) The day of the show makes you forget all the pain and suffering of the diet and Cardio.

Thanks 4 the concern! I'll B allright 1 way or the other. Started Shaun T's Insanity, this is the 3rd week.If ur still wanting to target ur legs this is it! max cardio training and plyometrics. it is Ntense! it has sculpted my quads better than squats ever could! Thanx again 4 your concern! Keep after your goals no matter what may come your way!
