Like most, high school sports and my older brother got me interested.
Why I Love It:
I'm super competitive and lifting has always been an inner competition for me. So much so I became a personal trainer and I like to incorporate fitness into the defensive tactics classes I teach.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am driven person by nature. My family helps and encourages me all of the time. My job also motivates me to stay in shape.
BB Accomplishments:
Winning gold at powerlifting event. Setting my sights on a natural bb contest.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Tendonitis of the wrist and elbow. Ice in the first 24 hours, heat several times a day for a few days. Cut back on exercises which affect the area.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Trying to go heavier than they are capable of, which usually leads to poor form and something getting tweeked.

Only when necessary, which isn't 20lb. dumbell lunges!

Well, I have sorta focused my training toward powerlifting more than bodybuilding. I am unconventional in PL training though, as I train more BB. I just think the overall body training is more suited for me and it allows my body to get stronger, not just certain lifts. I also think BB training...
