Overall Goal: I competed in September at the Heart of Texas! I took 2nd in the Over 50 and 3rd in the LW Novice division. I need a lot of work on my legs and more work on my definition. I want to compete again in 2010. Got the competition bug.
Fit Status:
Recovering from cold I got from a trip to Sacramento. At least it isn't the flu.
I have a short story about how I first got into bodybuilding while in the Air Force entitled, The PCU. Ask for it and I'll send it to you.
Why I Love It:
I love what it does for me. I love the people that I've met doing it and never plan on stopping.
How I Stay Motivated:
Are you kidding? When ever I stop training, it's like a nightmare!
BB Accomplishments:
I've competed in two bodybuilding contests. In the first one, back in 1999, I didn't place. It was a VERY good experience in which I was able to push my body and see where I could take my body. I competed in 2009 and took home two trophies. I learned that I can do what I set out to do but I still have a long way to go. I have to really continue to build up my legs and continue doing the cardio to keep my fat level down. Looking to compete again in 2010.

Goal (Long):
To build up to 190 and concentrate on competing at the age of 50! I'm Type II diabetic but my doctor has recently placed me on insulin to help control my sugar levels. My doctor has also put me on a small amount of Testosterone Cypionate (1.5 cc per week). Combined, they seem to be acting VERY well!
On Monday, April 6th, I'll be 50 years old. I've been training so hard over the past few months and now I'm finally going to make it. I've wanted to bring my legs up to a decent size and I think I've finally done it. Now, they look like a normal's man's legs should look instead of constantly...
My next comp is mister universe in germany in dec 4th and 5th 2009. i'm currently dieting down and it goes well so far. i aim at being more ripped than ever even if it means losing a little bit of size: conditioning is going to be the key if I hope to place top 10. thanks for ansking
Bro,
got your note on the diabetesdaily.com web site about the little competition. No problem - let me know what you think. I know all about being busy...
Training is going well, just finished my 5th week of an 8 week 10x10 program. Never had done anything like it before, it has really been tough, especially squat day. Have a great weekend!
Thanks for the compliments, it must be hard to workout and then go to work, but we have to pay sacrifices. How often do you train? Oh, by the way, could you please send me a copy of your story, I would love to read it
Hi! Thanks for the pic-comment! My next cutting starts in october! After my last (end of 2006) I had 300lbs with 22" arms and 8% bodyfat. My start-weight was 330lbs...
