January 1st was the new beginning. I am going to train this entire year to get back in shape to qualify and compete nationally in 2009. Right now I am about 235 at 8%. I am going to get back to 255 or so and maintain bodyfat around 6.5%. Trying to complete around 245.
Decided to go ahead and start my new leg routine now to see how it will work out after surgery. I think my days of squating are over so, I am going to try front squats now. I think they will be a nice alternative.

Thanks! Wow, 10 years? I don't see how she could stand it that long! Mine has just been 3 weeks. It doesn't bother me until night though... keeps me awake.
I just wanted to stop by to congratulate you on all of your hard work and the great results you have achieved. I believe that people such as yourself who have worked hard to get their body into great shape and who many times are looked upon for advice or as a role model should be acknowledged and complimented. just hang out - on vac next week so will be nice to hit the gym later rather then at 5AM-LOL... i went to the OFC show this past weekend.. pretty much sealed it i have to be up on stage next year!!!!!
Hey man - i know you were having your surgery in July was not sure when - hope does not ruin you holiday .. you going to any of the festivities around the tristate?
YOW - man how in the world you do that?? just make sure you recovery enuff- just thing of time off as grow time for the muscles.. i worry about hurting myself too.. if i do at this point i go nuts!
I've noticed the same to an extent. I feel like those slow/high rep schemes really pack the glycogen in if you already have a fair amount of muscle. I'm not entirely sure it would work very well for a beginner though. Anyway, lookin jacked bro, keep up the good work and have a great day!
I switch around. Lately (last few months) I've made quite a bit of progress with the high reps (even 50 and beyond). I am probably going to be switching back to lower ranges in the next few weeks, you know, go back to just pure strength training. It has been quite some time since I've done any 5x5 type stuff.
things are good - Training is going well - seem to be adding muscle ( well i look bigger i guess-LOL) - been more and more hunger - that is from the balls to the walls tarining i am sure ..been trying to get the posing in as well ..I think i will hit that show wanna get in as many as i can so I know what to expect- you on Vac or just off from gym?
