Friends that I would hang around while in college introduced me to the world of weight training. Before that I was very active in sports- basketball, dance, gymnastics.
Once I got started in weight training and saw the changes in my body- I was immediately hooked!
Why I Love It:
It is a stress reliever- it takes my mind off of my everyday stressors and it allows me to stay healthy and live a healthy lifestyle.
How I Stay Motivated:
My ipod.. If I do not have it with me.. I am lost.. I love music- have to always be loading new music in to keep me going!
BB Accomplishments:
2005 Ms. West Virginia Mountaineer Cup overall Womens bodybuiding
2007 Ms. California State Champ- women's overall bb-ing winner

Just getting started on cardio and cutting carbs- weight 178 Height 5'7"
I competed in my first ever national level women's bodybuilding competition at the USAs in 2007. I had a great time and came out of that competition with more motivation than ever. I now know what I have to do to prep for this year's USA competition. I am working with the guru of dieting.. Dave Palumbo and he is guiding me through the next 20 weeks to prep for this compeition. Not sure what weight I will come in- either Heavy or Light Heavy- does not matter as long as I look my very best - MOST IMPORTANTLY! I want to keep the feminine look- I believe that sexiness and muscularity can be achieved without going to extremes that women feel they need to do to compete in women's bodybuilding. I want to see the sport make a comeback and bring beauty plus muscle into the sport!

You look great at 5-7 178; I wish that physiues like that would be better rewarded in contests.
You look awesome. I wish I had started a long time ago. The area I live in there is not many women willing to lift weights. I love to lift. Do you train with someone? I lift weights with a couple of guys, but I don't think they take me serious. Any advice for training?
