How I Started:
I've worked out since 1991 in high school. I've always done it for sports. After my college football career was finished, I moved into working out for myself, which was more of a bodybuilding/powerlifting routine.

Looking at the weights on the bar, I say to myself, "Screw it...Just do it!"
My yearly workout cycle looks like this: 5x5, shocker, pyramid, hypertrophy, push/pull, 5x5, pyramid, push/pull, shocker, 5x5, hypertrophy. I like doing the hypertrophy right after pyramid or 5x5 b/c I'm stronger and can use more weight for higher reps.
