Overall Goal: Maintain where I am right now through November 1. I'm taking on the challenge of coaching two soccer teams this fall. My gym time will be limited but the running on the field will not stop.
Fit Status:
I'm moving from rehab to working out like I normally would again.

When I Started:
Jan, 2008
How I Started:
It all started after pushing my ACL rehab to the next level. That plus getting out of the dungeon that my college had for a gym and into one with real weights and equipment changed everything.
Why I Love It:
Nothing like reducing stress by pressing iron. The last thing I want to do after sitting all day is sit in my car.
How I Stay Motivated:
Keeping the music in the MP3 fresh. Live concert replays always help.
Oh and Fresh shoes every 2-3 months. Coaching and Teaching also help.
BB Accomplishments:
None, just maintenance so I can keep playing sports and be able to compete with those younger than those collegiate types.

Goal (Long):
Cranking up the cardio, running and kicking, learning to kick left footed for power and accuracy so I can let my right take it easy. I've maintained the weight through summer concerts! I'm still working out the kinks from the functional brace I need to wear, when I'm playing.

Fall soccer season is almost over. One more game for my team, the Gunners. We stand at 4-2 right now. All losses by one goal. I'm OK with that since I had to teach my undersized team how to play smarter and quicker, which was a new concept for some of them. My workouts have been slacking this...
2 months post op! Still working on gaining my muscle mass back and getting the cardio levels back to normal. If only I didn't have my functional brace on all the time. I'll hit the gym, balance out my PT days, and coach soccer, do the basic cardio mostly on machines and put a circle on my...

Hey! Thank you so much for checking in on me! Really appreciate that!!! I am back up and running at about 85-90% now. I've had about 4 lower body workouts in the last 2 weeks, and i feel like i'm starting all over! LOL! After the first one i literally didn't think i was going to be able to walk the morning after. But...I love it, and will take those crippling feelings anyday over not being able to workout at all! How are things going for you?
Been very busy with a Golf League and 2 softball teams. That and some injuries have kept me from keeping with the workout/lifting, but I hope to get back to it this fall. I haven't gained any weight so that is a good thing.
