I have always been a skinny guy with chicken legs and I want to completely bulk up. Need to gain 30-40lbs and mass muscle.
Goal (Long):
I've always wanted to have a body to be proud of. Tired of being so skinny with little arms and chicken legs. Would really like to double my size in muscle mass without getting fat. Total dedication and determination will help me to achieve this. So far so good!
Hey big Dan, I use Whey Protein Isolate straight after a workout (about 50g and would recommend the one that I use - AST Sport Science VP2) and then follow it up with some carbs (about 60-70g) as this is key to instigate growth. I work on the basis of 2.3g-2.5g of Protein per kilo a day. That's alot and try to eat alot of meat and fish. I will use a booster blended protein powder (slow and fast release) like Syntha 6 through out the day as well. Hope this helps.
Hey Dan, hows your day going? Thanks for the inspirational add, glad to do that. As far as the calories, it'll depend on how hard you're training. As an estimate I'd shoot for 2500-3500 cal a day w/ a protein ration of 2g/ kg of body weight.
thanks man for the props - appreciate it. Lookin to get back to boxing this week as tricep injury has passed, cant wait! Keep focussed and the results will come. For me, diet and constant shifts in lifts have been behind my changes.
