Background
I was 22 when I was at my slimmest and lightest at 54 kilos. I was not a gym member but I walked around a lot at university and at the nightclub where I worked. I also ate smaller portions and quite a lot throughout the day. I was engaged when I was 23. I was 25 when we moved into our home. Weight started piling up and I put ON 14 KILOS in one year! I was nearly 26 when I ended the relationship (have no regrets with that one anyway) and forced myself to weigh myself. Clothes did not fit me and friends were declaring that I was 'big', 'fat', 'cuddly' and other words. The scales said 67.9 kilos and I was very shocked. I started to eat healthier, go out more and have a better lifestyle but other things got in the way of getting my old body back. In September 2010, I joined the gym. I haven't looked back since. My old body is back. My old clothes fit me. I am much happier now. Now it is my goal to tone up and get that six pack. It has been my dream for years and I aim to achieve it.... So watch this space!
You all know this :) After 1.5 hours of hitting the weights and then doing cardiovascular exercises, I walk home feeling fitter, healthier and sexier :p I also go home knowing that I am doing the right thing for my body. Keeping it in tip-shop shape.

cyprusgal joined the Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer BodyGroup.
Reason I joined this BodyGroup: I am already doing the live fit trainer program. I am nearly finished the 3rd phase and i will go back and redo the 2nd phase. I still have lots of body fat to reduce. And I would like to meet other people who are doing the same thing that I am doing. Members: 3348

2nd month of training....
Posted in Working Out : Mar 06, 2012 6:52amWell.... I am approaching the end of my 2nd month training.... I am losing fat slowly, building up muscle and doing lots of HIIT....
I now weigh 60.5kilos. Last week I was 61.3. That's similar to a bag of sugar. All that fat gone. Can you imagine that?
I aim to go down to 57kilos if I can... and I know I can...

It seems to me that I am getting addicted to stir fries! While I realise that I have to consume a lot of chicken and eggs, the flavour of them does get boring. Sometimes the idea of eating chicken again makes me queasy.
This is where stir fries come in. A tablespoon of olive oil and I get cooking. I throw in sliced garlic, grated ginger, various vegetables, chicken and 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce. It's delicious and I just shovel in the food in my mouth. No carbs. I leave carbs for day time eating.

You try them! the best thing about being your own chef is that you can adapt the spices. I did not use chipotle spice or whatever it is. I added in chilli flake and red paprika spices myself :)
