havent been online as much. went through a big life overhaul - moved to a new state, started a new job. only fitting the gym in on occassion. i'm starting to pick back up though. i'm working on my cardio first. then i'm gonna go heavy on weights. my plan is to go back and forth in 4-6 week segments

i'm not really following a set plan at the moment. i signed up to a new gym and got 10 sessions with a trainer. i meet with him once a week and he texts me the day's workout in the morning. so i'm just giving that a shot for now. on my own, i'm trying to get my cardio slowly back up to what it was. when i was in iraq, i was running 10mi a day 2x per week and plenty of short runs during the week too. then i hurt my ankle... ready to get back at it

training is slow going. i've mostly been trying to get ready for my move. as for the makeover - i dont think i've seen a little kid smile quite like that in a long time! tomorrow evening i should get to find out what kind of 'wow factor' there was at school! i ended up giving her dad a haircut too!

i was supposed to go to taji. was stuck in the south. idf drill - is a mortar drill. i think i flew out like 2 days after that. they just couldnt wait two more days....

kinda slacked yesterday. i ended up not making it to the gym. i was cleaning out and packing and staging stuff at my storage unit to make my move easier in 2 weeks. was lifting lots of boxes! so i dont know if i want to do yesterday's workout tomorrow, or if i just want to start week 2. any suggestions?

well, even if i dont tell anyone i ate the cake, the calories still entered my body. cant fib them away! but i can totally bring it on the treadmill! my legs arent feeling as bad after today's workout, although lets see how they feel tomorrow

i feel like i've gone backwards.. there is major pudge around midsection. legs are slimmer, but still so covered in cellulite. ugh. hate being a girl somedays. lol. the workout was great today! my second round of HIIT- i kept pace the same, but increased incline to 10.0, then back to 2.0, back to 10, etc wasnt as tough as sprints, but my HR was up and it was easier to get on floor & do abs after

oh yeah, i'm feeling it too today! are you ready for legs again?? my buns are still in fire - but not as bad. i'm actually getting ready to head out to the gym in about a half an hour. just have to get my next meal in!

the next 12 week challenge actually starts on monday! are you ready!?! my bum is still killing me and tomorrow is legs again! already! i was bad tonight, my mom had a Longaberger basket party and there was all sorts of goodies! i had 2 pieces of cake! you know i'll be pushing it at the gym tomorrow!!!

i didnt realize how weak my chest is until today! i really had tough time wi/ the incline flyes! i had to drop my weight considerably to keep good form. also, in my gym, we have 2 racks of weights, the 'girl' weights and the 'boy' weights. i usually use the lighter boyweights. but even the 5lb ones were kicking my butt during flyes, i weighed them-they are actually 10 lbs! most of the 'lighter' weights are twice what they say! i didnt feel so bad after that! the HIIT was brutal as always!!

oh my glutes are on fire! it hurts to sit, get up from sitting and go up and down stairs!! my upper body is feeling ok, but lets see how i feel after todays session!!

it hurts to sit, get up from sitting, go up or down stairs lol!! back and biceps dont feel too bad (yet) i think i can increase my weight just a little bit on those. i finished today with 30min of steady state instead of the 21min of HIIT. i couldnt do it! i was drained!
i love this new workout and am very glad that krystal shared it!

my guy & i decided when we have kids someday, we want to bring them up eating clean & being familar with exercise so that they dont struggle later. he even talked about getting a jogging stroller so we can start running with them from birth!! (help me get potential baby weight off too lol)

my sis is 1 of those people that never put weight on (until recently) there's tons of junk in her house & her youngest child is beyond pudgy, she's downright fat. (i wrote blog about it) the other night i was at my best friends house when she was putting her little ones to bed. she gives them snack before bed & i'm ok with that thought, but she gives them cookies & other sugary items. she is setting them up to be unhealthy.
