How I Started:
I discovered my love of lifting weights as a senior in highschool.  I loved that the "skinny fat" cheerleaders couldn't keep up with me. After 4 pregnancies, and layers of body fat crept up on me...here I am! Back to prove I can still do this!
Why I Love It:
I have always enjoyed being strong. Over the years I have slacked off, but I am here to get back on the horse and kick ass!! I love feeling the sense of one step closer... every workout, feels a little closer to my goals..
How I Stay Motivated:
I am seeing progress, this is a very powerful motivator for me. I like to look in the mirror now! Mirrors aren't the enemy any more, neither are cameras!
BB Accomplishments:
Looking good for myself and being a fit and healthy role model for my daughters...

I hope you're right. I'm SO sick of eating and I know I don't get to stop...ever. :) That must be so very frustrating not being able to lift. But you still look super..not like you sat around gained weight. I bet you'll get those muscles back faster and bigger than you think.

Patience indeed, back/spine injuries tend to be easily re-injured! Frustrating as it may seem, give this time to heal, it's worth it. Also, be very ready to hit the abs and stretch regularly from now on. Keeping my core strong and flexible (as well as losing weight and being picky about shoes) has helped me tremendously! Best!
