Before After

1965 burp
I was three years old. You like the jacket? And, yes, I have been "bald" all my life. :) I tried to enter the date "1965-08-21" and the BodySpace server or software whoziwhatsis shrieked "That date is more than 25 years old!!" True. See the blog. :)
185 lbs. in these pics. What, only a TWO pound loss since February? I wasn't really worried about losing. Btdt and I look like a prisoner of war at a low body weight. Maintained fair consistency in the gym and am on a new eating plan - the Wavelength diet. Google it. Perfect for people with a modest appetite. Through the contest I discovered that I no longer hate Nitro-Tech. I remember it tasting godawful, but their chocolate and their cookies and cream are both mighty tasty! Wishing everyone continued success in their training goals! :-)

I weigh 160 pounds in this pic taken near the end of September. My goal is noticeable improvement (more visible abs and obliques) by the end of October.

Do you have your ChickenTuna T-shirt? Visit Bunklers.com for this and other selections! WWCTE? ;)

155 lbs.
Oct 11, 2007
I'm 155 here. TuffGirl says, “Keep it simple and let it be black.” My boxers aren't black, but they're not thongs either! Read TG's rant in her Oct. 9 blog! :)

Oct 17, 2007
Bah. Weighing 153 in this pic, but not feeling especially good about the midsection. New ab training tonight!

Burp!
Oct 20, 2007
Back away from the cheeseburger!

What day is it?
Oct 20, 2007
I actually think this was taken this morning, October 21. MAN! Lack of carbs is EATING MY BRAIN!!!! Actually, I'm not counting proteins or carbs. Just calories while avoiding fat. And I am making a conscious effort to increase my protein to spare what little muscle I currently possess. I'm going to work in a carb experiment, too, but today was not that day.

This pic was taken after an 8000-calorie weekend. Okay, not quite, but I was chowing down compared to the past several weeks.

Oct 31, 2007
I weighed 149 lbs. in this pic. Juice fast for two days and then water and air were the only two items on today's menu.

NOT 149.
Nov 12, 2007
I'm not sure what I weighed here. 156? I jumped significantly from my illusory, dehydrated-as-heeeell 149 of a week before. Currently at 165. You've heard about "muscle memory," well, I strongly suspect there's also FAT memory. ;)

3000 kcals per day vs. 1500 kcals per day
Nov 12, 2007
I'll vote for 3000 kcals per day verus half that, definitely. (burp)

My frigging scale is giving me 82 different readings, but my waist is something I can track without question - 34" here.

And the "Pumped Python" (cough) is 13 1/2" here. GRRR!!!

Grrrr!!

Taken for my Gaspari Lemon Burst review blog.

Check out my invisible lats! ;)
Dec 1, 2007
I weigh about 170 lbs. here. Up from 150 lbs. just a month ago. I actually dipped down to 149 lbs. on the scale, but much of that was the illusion of a dehydrated state. Now I'm eating 3000 calories a day and 200 grams protein every day, too, in an effort to pack some meat on these bones.

How do you work YOUR neck?
Dec 1, 2007
No, it's not a neck exercise. It's an attempt at humor. When your physique's not perfect, wear a funny hat. It works every time! :)

And if the funny hat doesn't work...
Dec 1, 2007
No, it's me! Really! Why would I lie? Bow down to the Curtzenegger! Okay, okay, I cannot tell a lie. It's my head on Arnold's body. There, I feel much better. ;)

Oh, yeah, twist to erase wiiiide hips.
Dec 8, 2007
Tip from the structurally impaired: Twist at the hips to make your waist appear smaller and your shoulders appear wider. (Now just try walking around the gym like this, though. NOT an easy feat.)

Jul 2, 2008
The only option they offer is "Back Relaxed" but, come on, I'm flexing my triceps a bit and pulling my shoulders back attempting to look as diiiiesel as possible. Grrr! The tattoo was my first. A "tester" tattoo to see how much they hurt. It's a black lizard done about ten years ago.

Back Double Biceps cropped - 183 lbs.

I have a sheet of butcher paper hanging on the wall as my background. Cropped the forearms because I don't need anyone to see the mess of my apartment. :) Yeah, laundry is piled up to the ceiling on either side of me in the picture. Okay, it's not, but I really do need to do laundry. TODAY!

a a.k.a. MuscleTech
Jul 2, 2008
a a.k.a. MuscleTech contest "after" pics. Dropped more than ten pounds and two inches off my waist. No noticeable difference, imo, but what fun this contest was! Good luck to all.

I was actually very happy to hit 200. I've never weighed that in my life. And being a life-long stick man, it's pretty cool to step on the scale and see 2-anything. I was 204 on the nurse's scale at work (school). But the 39" waist kinda offsets that happiness. lol
