I've always been an athlete and began weight training to improve myself as a basketball player in college. I then had a second job as a bouncer in a nightclub where I bulked up alot but lost the leanness I had in college. In addition to strength training I have recently become involved with endurance sports having run a half marathon this past march. I plan to run another half marathon and a couple of 10Ks before the end of 2009.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy working out and running because my success or failure is up to me. I control whether or not I have a good day in the gym or not.
My goal is to get into shape to become more involved in endurance sports.
Goal (Long):
I want to lose about 60 lbs and become more involved in endurance sports. I would like to compete in everything from 5Ks to Marathons and Multisport events.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 100 lb
