I became a hardcore gym rat January 2007 when I was deployed to Afghanistan. Being on duty 12 hours and having 12 hours to myself, I spent a lot of time working out and reading a variety of muscle magazines that inspired me to want to become a bodybuilder and personal trainer.
Why I Love It:
I love the healthy lifestyle that comes along with bodybuilding/working out. It gives me something to look forward to day in and day out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I can't put it into words but some FORCE deep inside of me DRIVES me even when I don't wanna be driven and I give my ALL EVERY training session. MY INTERNAL SELF IS MY MOTIVATION, NEVER A SLACK ASS DAY!!!
I don't count my reps I go heavy enough to reach a desired rep range. Set wise for large muscle groups I go 15 sets and small groups I keep it between 6 to 9 sets. I use this number of sets to prevent myself from overtraining.I don't count my reps I go heavy enough to reach a desired rep range. How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
On average 1 min, if I'm lifting heavy I go about 2-2.5 mins.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
i agree w/ the food comment, still lifting here. thinking about getting heavier DBs for Xmas, ur thoughts? getting harder to keep my motivation, ya know?
How are you today Charles? Keep up the great work. I fell off a bit due to going back to school fulltime while working but I am finding my zone now. What's been happening with you and your workouts?
The diet is always the tricky part. I keep it simple. Make a log and keep track of EVERYTHING that you eat. Everyday you can add it up and see where you're at and in a while you can get a pattern and make changes.
Man, that sounds pretty close to my diet now. I could probably use more of the red meat, pizza, and ice cream though. So sad.
At any rate, my biggest problem right now (which usually isn't an issue) is actually just getting in there like usual. Eh, life is entertaining like that. Thanks for the help though. I'll bug you about more of it later.
