When I Started: Feb, 2005
How I Started: I visited my local community center which had just built a new gym/workout facility. I saw a couple of my friends there, who encouraged me to start meeting them up there for workouts. After one week, I was "hooked". I now go six mornings a week for cardio and weight training!
Why I Love It: Working out has had a MAJOR impact on my mood, appearance and overall well being. My wife tells me I'm a diffirent man, my son is impressed with my overall energy, strength, vitality. My friends and work associates tell me I look ten years younger. I have also discovered it has enhanced my spiritual growth/development.
How I Stay Motivated: I realized that working out is a daily investment in my physical/emotional/spiritual well-being. I also discovered it's an investment in my family.
BB Accomplishments: Strength, stamina, definition.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Poor form, primarily due to lack of focus/concentration.

Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Inflammation of my elbow. Ice and rest were the keys to a speedy recovery.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
I don't believe in a "most" dangerous exercise. Any weightlifing exercise need to be taken seriously to minimize the risk of injury.
