A friend and teammate in college got me into serious weight lifting. Before it was just about staying fit.
Why I Love It:
Its about the love of pushing myself beyond where most people stop. The natural result is growth and improvement.
How I Stay Motivated:
Its been hard, having major knee surgery March 2005, and a short lay off due to a rotator cuff strain. But I just get to the gym and get at it. A good partner that knows how to spot and push me is HUGE for me.

What crazycanuck7901 Is Up To:
Jul 23, 2009
crazycanuck7901 changed Body Fat from 15.5% to 14%, a loss of 1.5 percentage points in 364 days
This was taken just a few months after I got into serious lifting.
I wasn't totally stretched out and didn't have a full flex on, but I think Ive made some gains in the last 3 months. Knocked off about 1% bodyfat, just through eating cleaner.
So I did Quads and Calves on Saturday, and my god, my quads are still sore some 48 hours later. Tell me what you think. Here is what I did for my workout:
Squat/Squat Jumps 3x20(5atg-10 squat jumps-5atg)x135
lol..yeah I'm not surprised getting enough food is part of the problem.. it takes time to prepare decent meals/snacks for a 10-12 hour day..hahah. My workouts were on hold for a few weeks due to business but I'm finally back at it. Hey can I alternate 4 bicep/tricep exercises during the same workout (instead of doing all bis followed by tris)?
WOA! That's a lot of yours in the gym! LOL..I hope you're finding time to train yourself also.. haha. Congrats on the mass gains tho! Good work.. and I'm sure your clients appreciate your efforts also :)
hows it goin? i'm staying with my brother in law and sister at the moment. I'm also cutting. Roary has been slacking big time for a couple months now but is finally getting back at it. You still getting in the gym often with hockey and everything else?
Once I saw your bodyspace name "crazycanuck" I just had to write and congratulate you on all of your hard work and compliment you on your great results. Continue to challenge yourself to be the best that you can be and the rewards will be well worth the effort. I look forward to watching your continued progress and wish you all the best for '08
