How I Started:
I use to be a gymnast until I graduated college. After graduating, I spent a lot of time adjusting to the new lifestyle of working 14 hour days and letting my body heal. Well, body hasn't felt much better and I'm tired of the extra weight so, time to pick up something new.
Why I Love It:
While the end-result is always a nice thing, I enjoy the in-the-moment burning pain and the immediate post-workout struggle to move your body. Lets me know I've truly worked hard.
How I Stay Motivated:
Won the bet with my brother. But why stop there. Goals are like limits, they're set to be broken. New motivation, don't need any. I'm addicted

This is a picture from about a year ago right as I was recovering from my second shoulder surgery.
Yikes! That would be crazy too!! I was hoping to catch a crazy storm in Okinawa while I was there...but alas...the sun was shining the whole two weeks!! Not that i'm complaining..but they get some wicked storms from my understanding! lol
I totally LOVE a good storm!! lol...thust the nickname right...BUT...i've been through three tornadoes now and they definatly scare me! One touched down a block from my place last year...knocked out two of our windows just from the wind! CRAZY!
I had a pretty quiet weekend...work and then mother's day! Did an AWESOME workout with my daughter!! That was definatly the highlight of the weekend!! I do Crossfit workouts, so having her do one with me ROCKED!!
I was in Okinawa and it was absolutely breathtaking!! Awesome trip!! South Amercia would be really neat!! Where about are you thinking of going?? I want to visit Italy next!
Lol..that can be a challenge! I have several cameras that I use for very specific purposes! lol. Depending on what i need to capture, if its indoor or outside and what shutter speed I will need! That is a fantastic pic! I have 10 rolls still being shipped back from Japan and I cant wait to get them developed!!
Oh nice!! Did you do a lot of hiking there?? My older brother just moved to Pheonix! I hear Arizona is pretty amazing! But i'm still aiming for Texas! lol
I'm SO excited for Texas!!! I hear it is THE place to be! lol. That and having been there twice - i'm totally hooked on the weather and the energy there!! What made you move to Virginia?? Your baby is sooooo adorable! What a cutie!!
