How I Started:
I have always been active. I play softball throughout the summers, along with riding bikes and playing sports with the kids. I ran a mini-marathon in May. I did pretty good for my first time! I became hooked! I enjoyed the thrill of crossing that finish line! I decided to do a 10K in June. I had improved my mile by 1 1/2 minutes! But, I ended up with shin splints. It took me a month and a half before I could even think about jogging again. I got frustrated and quit exercise altogether. BIG MISTAKE! After three months, I gained back every bit of weight I had lost up to this point, plus added an extra 5 pounds! It's time to get back on the treadmill and get to work!
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling I get after exercise! It's so euphoric!
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't want to be fat anymore! I want to melt away the fat, and find that muscular physique I know is hiding in there somewhere!
I normally do 3 sets of 15. I am attempting to lose weight.

I try to only rest a minute between sets.

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
A LONG time ago, I was training for a bench press contest. It was the day when I attempted my max rep. Not for sure what went wrong...but I tore the ligaments in my chest.
I officially have four weeks left in my gym's weight loss competiton. Over the next four weeks I am hoping to drop another 8 pounds! I know its a stretch, but two pounds a week can be done!! As soon as this competition is over, there is another one starting. I am going to sign back on...

Hey HOT MAMA...How was your wk? My trainer(Hubby) was out of town all wk so I was on my own w/my dieting & training.
