Background
Way back in 9th grade i started lifting in the basement. Had maybe 50lbs on the bench, 10 pound dumbells (talk about a pump when curling!) People started noticing, I got bigger quick...was easy considering I was maybe 90lbs! Loved the attention I got, and the feeling it gave me. Have continued ever since. Had some issues with my elbows and shoulders a couple years ago and quit lifting as much and got into marathons and endurance races. Now i continue doing races, and am doing a half ironman this year, but I have renewed focus in the gym, hitting the weights harder than ever.
I love the confidence, the adrenaline rush it gives me, the feeling of accomplishment. The reward of how I look and feel every day. I like inspiring people to change there life, which it seems I do, since almost everyone I hang out with ends up picking up a fitness routine.
